Take A Seat//Enjoy the Ride

I have a sick obsession with chairs. Not any ordinary chair, mind you. But the strange, the artistic brand of chairs that are more the gallery route of chair you would see in a museum eventually. I don't know what it is, but there is something that inspires me with the form and function and how different artists interpret the comfort of being enveloped within a certain kind of confine when reclining in a seated position that grabs me...Much of these images have been compiled through several weeks, even months, of perusing and through the sheer enjoyment that I gather when looking at random images of chairs...I know. I need help;)...Enjoy!

The Stool is one of the earliest forms of seat furniture. Usually they have a single steady seat, no back, no arms, and either three or four legs, but Swing Stool by Kate Pashinova is an unusual stool furniture which has a transparent plexiglass seat that can swing. It is the answer to boring furniture with a goal of changing sitting habits in an extremely new and extraordinary way.
