Francesco Scognamiglio

"Oh Yum." Yes, that was my initial eloquent reaction when I saw these first above pictures. The amazing form and detail in the above pieces never prepared me for the unraveling of the heavenly art of Francesco Scognamiglio.

I won't lie to you, I was bowled over when I saw these dresses from Milan's Fashion Week runway for Spring 2011 and I wouldn't have known of him if I had not seen the attractively artistic Spring 2011 campaign that just launched on his love love every. single. dress. pantsuit. and jacket. All so amazing, dramatic and each piece a story and a vision of perfection. Do I sound like I'm in love? Well, I do believe I am! :)

Cherry Blossoms

Awesome pictures from the Etam show on The Cherry Blossom Girl. The neons, the sweeping views of the stage, the lovely ladies in their lingerie, and the close-ups of the musicians. I feel like I've got front row seats!! And Boy George still looks good, doesn't he? Check out the deets of the show below...

'The Etam show.

Not only the lingerie was nice ( I especially loved the Marie Antoinette and neon themes ), but the most perfect artists were there to sing: Beth Ditto, The Kills, Boy George, Karen Elson, Janelle Monaé, Andrew Wyatt, Joey Starr, all backed by Mark Ronson & The Business INTL.'  text and images via
